NSV that I thought was not possible
OK, so I know different clothing makers have different sizing, I get that, but today, in a dressing room at Ross, I put on a medium shirt that was too big. I went and found the same shirt in a small, and it fits. I almost squealed in the fitting room. It is pretty, purple roses on a white lace background. There is no way I would have wore something this style before losing this much weight. Now, I can't wait to put on dainty stuff.
The scale movement has slowed down (hasn't moved in weeks), but I know I am still shrinking because of my clothes. Stuff that I bought a few weeks ago is loose. I'll just keep working the plan and see where this ride takes me. I never thought I would ever fit into a size small shirt or a size 8 dress. I bought a dress this weekend to wear to a friend's wedding. I like it so much, for the first time in years I wore a dress to church on Easter.
I don't know about you, but I'm a "stair stepper". I lose a few pounds, stay there a while, shrink, then start over again. Things have slowed down, the pauses are longer, but the shrinking continues. I think I am almost ready for maintenance because it is not really about the number on the scale for me. There is an old skating dress in the closet, when it fits, I am at my personal goal. I am very close, I can also see bones under this saggy skin.
