Night out with hubby and another couple...
I posted this status update on Facebook earlier and I thought I'd share it and some photos from our night out at a nice restaurant.
Life as a skinnier me is pretty freaking amazing. Best thing I've ever done for myself was my weight loss surgery. I'm who I was meant to be.

OK girlie.....
Listen up..... next time your in a funk, or need motivation......look at these photos......and read your post.....
You really look like who you were meant to be......also your persona is very forward... it's very common for an obese persons (like we were) persona to look/feel very much back, trying to hide within ourselves. (that was the photographer talking)
Amazing..... proud of you.....

Thanks, sweetie. I'm definitely an "out there" personality, I think that's why I feel more comfortable in this revamped body. It makes it "easier" in some ways...
But thanks... sometimes I get in the funk pretty easily. I'm clawing my way back since the news about my back. It was kind of a breaking point for me this month, especially because this is the weekend that I spent last year with emergency neck fusion surgery. THAT was the worst recovery ever. I just keep telling myself that this is WAY different. LOL!
xoxo
