Sitting is kind of a pain the butt...

Oh boy, did I have this issue, too! However, it's a had, not have. It resolved itself as things evened out. I used to have this protruding sternum bump, too and that hurt like hell if I laid on it or something bump it at the gym. That has gone down, too. I think our bodies are super whacked out when we lose a whole bunch of weight and after a while things settle back in and sort of redistribute! Just conjecture, but I've heard others say the same.

Hopefully, your butt padding will come back a bit. In the meantime, learn to do squats to build up the muscle, but learn to do them correctly or you could mess up your back and knees BIG TIME!

Yeah, these weird bones show up every few months (I asked my doctor if that weird sticky outtie chest thing was normal or not LOL). I'm hoping it goes down.

Ugh. Squats. 30+ years of obesity took its toll on my knees :(

I've got that too! Plus my lower ribs protrude a bit in a weird way that sometimes hurt... but it all seems to be settling down, very slowly.

Candy, I know exactly how you feel.  I have been complaining for about a month because my butt hurts!  I keep taking a padded cushion to all of my sons events at school because all they have are bleachers and metal chairs.  That is one place I always lose first.  I still have a lot more to lose so I am going to have to invest in something to help with this "wonderful" problem.

My pain hasn't went away at all. I am now off of work where I can't lay, sit or stand. I went on a hike last August seen the dr two days later and then six weeks later where I was told I could only do flat surface walking. He sent me for xrays which showed I have artritis then a catscan that shows I have protruding discs. On Feb 19TH myleg went numb so it might be a sign that one of the discs are herniated so waiting to see a surgeon. This is a long wait here possibly six months to a year. A month later now and I am practically bedridden. I just feel like crying, screaming and hitting walls but I know that will just cause me pain elsewhere. I have children to take care of and a life to live being healthier. My housework is falling apart and meal preparation is too but thankful to all them frozen dinners I made on days where I don't feel able to stand long and cook.

I would say to give the pain a few months, if it doesn't go away get it checked out. I do blame not looking after my body for so many years.

I still have twenty pounds to lose and need to totally rely on my diet alone now. I do miss my exercising. I just want to get healthy and be pain free again.

I'm a neck fusion surgery (last Summer actually) so I know what you're going through. The pain goes away if I stand up. It's the same thing that happened before. If not, I'll be in to my chiropractor FAST.

I hope you feel better soon. That's rough.
