Since DH & I are on vacation in beautiful Colorado, we went cross country skiing today. We haven't been in a few years, and we were both quite heavy the last time we went. Well, today's activity led to a discovery...falling on my butt in the snow hurts. I don't have near as much "padding" in the rear as I used to have, and I fell several times today. While I am not really injured, I am sore. As our buddy acbbrown (Alison) would say, skinny girl problems. Well, I'll take them, beats having the "padding" any day.

I have the same thing with my ice skating.  I often come home black and blue all over my butt or my thighs.   While I was trying to learn the axel, I must have bruised myself daily as I would land just as often on my butt as on my skates.  I still love the way it feels like I am flying.  :)

Sounds like a blast!  I'll take the skinny girl problems over the padding any day!

We need to go ice skating soon :)

Yes we do. I am getting used to my new skates, should have them broken in after a few more sessions.
