Sleevegirl...I always enjoy your posts. You are a true inspiration and your kids are cuties! My son went to a robotics camp a few years back and was in heaven. I hope you find peace with you mental demons and continue your healthy new life. Congrats!

No kidding tonight! I am so freaking proud of you! I just about got all teary eyed reading your blog post. Congratulations. YOU ARE AWESOME AND SHOULD BE SO F'ING PROUD OF YOURSELF!!!!! Your pic is amazing!

On the philosophical side, I completely agree with your take on this is a life long "recovery". I see it in myself all the time. I still battle with food demons. Sometimes I think it would be easier if this was like smoking or drinking - meaning being able to walk away forever and never drink or smoke again. Sometimes it sucks that we have to eat! Odd too, that cigarettes most always disgust me (ex-smoker here), but a friggin' cookie calls my name and wants to be my lover! I wish that cookies would disgust me, too!

Celebrate your victory. Get naughty with your hubby, go get a pedi or run up the charge card on something beautifully feminine! You SO DESERVE IT!!!!!

You are awesome!

Okay, when he sees the Amex bill, I'm telling him YOU told me to. Just sayin'

Ex smoker here too... I quit in 97 or so. But yeah, that was WAY easier. LOL... I think so many people think "get surgery and live will be great'. Sigh... if only. LOL
