I'm cold and whiny and this freaking half pound...

Time to donate blood - :)))  That 1/2 lb will be gone instantly :)

I hear ya on the cold. Except now, Im ******g stuffed in a compression garment from top to bottom - i have this weird balance - my head, forearms, and calves are FROZEN while the rest of my body is sweating away like its ******g summer (and it's 30 degrees right now). I 

Whine away  - i give you permission to post a whiny post every half hour. After all the typing, im sure you'll scare that 1/2 lb off!!

Hmmmm... I've never donated blood... can they take a few pounds out to get me way below that 175 point? I mean, I have plenty, right? LOL

Ugh. I keep saying I want plastics, but the "after" scares the hell out of me. You're still alive and haven't killed anyone (that we know of) so I'm thinking it's doable.

Okay... every 30 minutes I'm going to start a new post... the noobs already think we're all nuts... may as well own that *****

It's definitely doable - not only have I not killed anyone, I havent fallen to the normal post-op depression that hits a lot of people. There's no way I couldn't be happy every single day tht I take a shower and im not lifting pounds of flesh just to wash up...

Good point. I'm going to give it a little more time and then look into plastics more. It took a while for me to decide that, but that's the current plan. LOL. It could change tomorrow. LOL. The reality is that I would do it in June, so probably not until 2014. Hubby is a teacher and I am a big baby... he has Summer off to babysit me.

Yep - in the 20's or 30's is too cold - even with my hot flashes I am in long pajamas at night!

I must say though that I went for a run last night and that 45 degrees with normal humidity was much more pleasant that last week's 65 degrees with 90% humidity to exercise in!!

At least we know the cold won't last long enough for us to adjust or get used to it!

... all I want for Christmas is 90 degrees. 90 degrees... oh wait, I'm totally making up a song in my head...

Yeah, anything under 50 sucks. It's just levels of suckage.

I'm technically in Austin, but if I walk about 4 blocks, I hit Cedar Park so I set my widget at Cedar Park since the temperature is more correct. The Austin one is always higher because of all the streets. I'm out right near Lakeline Mall, if you are famliar with the area.

Hubby is from Austin, and we usually visit there almost every year -- but we were there for a big wedding last year, so we are staying home.  This brother lives in the Jollyville area, so I'm quite familiar with the Lakeline Mall (as well as many others)!  I do miss the Armadillo Fair and the big tree.  A couple of years ago, our son's girlfriend also came down and joined in the Christmas fray!  We took a walk over near Shoals Creek, and were surprised when a naked bicyclist passed us!  But not nearly as surprised as we were a little later that same day when we were walking downtown around the lake -- and surprise, another naked bicyclist!  Ii bet they aren't out today!

Yup. That's Austin. I love it here. Wouldn't live anywhere else. :) My surgeon is right off of Jollyville Rd :)
