down another jean size, grateful for thrift stores
I don't get to wear jeans except on casual Friday & weekends. On weekends, I also wear yoga pants (so comfy). So, yesterday, I discovered that my jeans were to big. I have been shopping at thrift stores because I don't want to spend a lot on clothes as I shrink. So, today I hit the rescue mission store on a half price sale. I picked up 3 pair of jeans in size 12. They fit now. I also picked up a couple of size 10 for later since I was able to get them for about $3 a pair. I also got a few other items since it was half price day. I then had DH drive around back and we donated 2 huge boxes of clothes from a previous closet purge. It is kind of cool that I can get temporary wardrobes at decent prices, donate what is to big, and help a fine organization all at the same time. I've also picked up work clothes there too. Great deals on dress pants, sweaters, and dresses.

I think I'm finally able to see it myself. I know, it takes a while before the mind catches up with the body. But I haven't had my butt in a size 12 since before I got pregnant with my last child. He'll be 25 in January. It has been a long, long time.

So cool! I am a thrift store queen and have dressed myself up and down and up again 5 sizes. Once i get my surgery I am looking forward to going down the sizes again and donated the bigger stuff for the last time. I always find great clothes, even with the tags on. Great idea to get the next size down you will be there in no time!
