194 Lost. Unbelievable. (And leaving Frisco in the dust)
Candy, thank you for sharing and being so up front about your journey. I've been on this forum for close to a year now and there are several vets that I love reading posts from and you're definitely one of them. YOU KEEP IT REAL!! We're not all perfect and we're not all the same and that is the joy of sharing our individual journeys. What works for one may not work for another and by trying the different things people suggest we're able to find what does work for us. I'm only 5 months out but am close to goal because I was a lightweight BUT had huge comorbids that are now all gone. That was the goal of my journey was to get rid of those so I could live a long and healthy life for my family and new grandson who has stolen my heart. I am already living life so much happier and fuller than I was a year ago BUT I couldn't have done it without the encouragement and support and inspiration from people like you! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I don't think anyone can call themselves a vet until they've kept the weight off for 5 to 10 years, to be honest. Hell, even then I wouldn't consider myself a vet. This is lifelong struggle and I'm aware that I'm going to have to work on it every day for the rest of my life. But I'm worth it.
So glad you're doing well. xoxo

Congratulations awesome job. I have just wrapped my mind around the fact that you have lost the equivalent to my current weight. I have just weighed in at 194lbs. I have another 14lbs to get to goal weight of 180lbs. I am not sure how much I will change my goal weight by when I get there or even if I will change it. You certainly are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing your progress.
