On my profile are still pretty recent :) I'm waiting to do another full body comparison until I hit 200 loss (maybe by the end of the year, but I'm thinking it will be January with the holidays and my really slow loss right now)

Actually, what the heck... here's the most recent headshot from last month and comparing from previous (same photographer, only the last one she didn't have to shrink my face or get rid of a chin or anything LOL). My last full body was at 1 year (35 pounds ago), I'll wait until I hit 200 loss to update that. For some reason this isn't showing up, if it doesn't, here's the link:

You look fantastic - beautiful before and after.  Truly amazing accomplishment and your determination; if you counted your weight loss by gallon jugs of water and at 190 pounds it is the equivalent of carrying over 22 gallon jugs of water, or over four of those 5 gallon water cooler jugs at the same time.  So happy for you kicking @ss.

Thanks for posting!

Thanks, I know... every now and then I look at something (like water jugs or bags of sugar and think "holy heck"). I wonder how I even moved around, ya know? I mean obviously your body adjusts, but WOW. YOU are doing fabulous too... wow! Keep up the great work!

Love it!

I had my 6-month check-up with my surgeon yesterday and he's so "real."

He said look I know the holidays are coming up. I know you want to hit goal by the end of the year but enjoy the holidays. Focus on only eating carb free during the big meals so you can have a cookie or a piece of pie if you want it.

This process is about living my life now. I have felt left out of a lot of stuff being overweight. I want to enjoy everything so if I have a few more carbs that day, like you said, I move on. I may analyze the behavior but this is the rest of my life. Being congizant of my relationship with food and my body.

That's my holiday plan. Thanksgiving and xmas is to eat the turkey or whatever and then have small piece of whatever dessert I really really want. (Like hubby's aunt's buttermilk pie, OMG). I know that if I don't allow myself that then I'll throw myself a little hissy fit and go off the rails for a week. LOL.

For some, that would trigger them so they can't eat it. One size doesn't fit all. Unfortunately.
