Wow - what an amazing milestone.    Sorry to hear things have been extra stressful lately, but it sounds like you are really handling it well.   It can definitely be hard to find that comfort and relief that we used to get from food.   (I suppose I should put "comfort" and "relief" in quotation marks, though, because medicating with food is never actually that satisfying...)

Anyway, I'm doing a happy dance in your honor right now. :)

Nutshell:

Lost 140 lbs with VSG. (Hooray!!)

got pregnant  (yeaaaa!)

got cancer (boooo!)

regained 40 lbs.   (grrrr!)

In summary: Alive & Grateful.

That's such a HUGE accomplishment! Your posts and story has been so motivating to me as a pre op since we have very close starting weights. You've done so amazing, when things get rough just take a look at how far you've come and know that you've become an inspiration to people like me. Big congrats!

Congrats!  I started measuring my weight loss in pets and now I'm working on my 9 year old daughter.  LOL

I'm so looking forward to only being overweight.  It thrilled me to no end to no longer be morbidly obese.  I was 7 pounds away from being super morbidly obese when I hit my highest weight.
