I've officially lost more than I weigh
Along the way, I've measured my loss in people (first one kid, then another, then my female trainer, then my husband) - I have weird goals, but whatever keeps you going right?
I've been inching along the past two weeks, one pound per week and I knew I'd get a little whoosh soon. And it came. And I'm now less than the half the woman I was.
My BMI is also right at 30.0 (although my Withings says 29.9 so I got prematurely excited). Going under 30 means I'm overweight. For the first time in my adult life. Not obese. Not super obese. Not super morbidly obese. Overweight.
I weigh 186.1 this morning. I'm 15.5 months post op. I've lost 188.9 pounds. I'm still losing too.
I'm happy, but my stress has been REALLY high the past few months for several reasons and something happened on Monday that has made it triple (nothing I can do about it until next week) so I'm just working right now on breathing and getting through the days. That's why I'm on here on spurts sometimes. Things will eventually calm down again. The good (and frustrating at times, I will admit) news is that I can't eat that stress away. The bad news is I'm still working out where that stress goes now that it doesn't reside in a taco. *laughing*
(Yes, I have a counselor, I'm not looking for answers, just sharing because I think most of us go through this at some point)
*** Oh, and Frisco... REALLY CLOSE... and your skinny ass is officially caught up on for amount loss. We are celebrating by YOU not eating out of a pan for 1 week (I want 4 weeks, but I'll settle for one). Oh, you didn't know this, did you? Um... well, we are.

Amazing weight loss and journey so far! Congrats! I totally understand the stress issue and dealing with it. I am learning as well. I just take a day at a time, thank God for what I have today, the blessings and what I think are curses, but really can be blessings in disguise, especially if I choose to learn from them.
You inspire me. Thanks for posting!

“Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains. The steepness and ruggedness dismay us, and so we stay in the misty valleys and do not learn the mystery of the hills. We do not know what we lose in our self indulgence. What glory awaits us if only we had the courage for the mountain climb. What blessing we should find if only we would move to the uplands of God.? JRM
