One week ago today!!
This time last week I thought I was dying!!! I survived the surgery and a blood pressure spike in recovery. Had to stay two nights in the hospital due to high blood pressure that was not an issue before surgery and severe nausea. I have been on clear liquids for one week and still have two more to go!!!
On the upside I have lost 8 pounds since the morning of surgery!!!
I have already had my first food mourning episode and am having a hard time getting comfortable at night to sleep. I am a side/tummy sleeper and it is impossible to get comfortable without being surrounded by pillows and a dose of Loratab. How long till I can sleep like I used to?
Thanks for all the great advise that you all have been posting. I can't wait till I am at goal and can be of help to others just starting the journey.
