I love this post and read it everytime you post this. Still not up to eating many vegetables yet and this just reminds me of the ones I should eat when I do.

The first time I read this post from you, it helped me quite  a bit!!  With the band, the pyloric valve didn't really come in to play.  Glad you re-posted this....it's a great reminder!!  Thanks!

This was a great explanation -- some of it I had certainly gleaned from other posts, but this just puts it all together for me.  Thanks for that.

I am amazed at how correct you are that it's the least talked about.  I have not heard one word about this from my doc or nutritionist or class, etc.  And I went to a top doc, head of the program, COE, etc. etc.  It does make me wonder why they don't explain it this way to help up better understand.

Oh well ...... guess I'll mention it at my next visit.

Thanks so much for sharing this. My son had pyloric stenosis when he was an infant and I remember the problems he had but never related it to me with a sleeve.

I've used this information many times in my journey...today for sure.
I needed to stop the carb cycle that I got on with my snacking the past few days, so I eat meat and one stalk of broccoli.
I stay full for a long time and it helps to alleviate the carb cravings.

thanks
