Awesome! Thanks for the great post. Love that you keep it real! I love your 90/10 philosophy. I'm trying to adopt that myself- just not quite ready to do it! LOL!

Early maintenance was such a mind blowing transition. I had regular "freak outs" over the calories (upping to 1200) and it took a while to figure out the "what now" stage.

You will get there Kairk!!

Congratulations on your success!!! I know you have worked hard at maintenance and your motivation and discipline are paying off. Maintenance is where the rubber meets the road, especially the further out that we get.

You look absolutely wonderful and healthy. The transformation has been incredible.

The smoking struggle is a real bear. When I quit, it was one of the most difficult things that I ever did. You will get there.

Thank you Gail!! I will never say "I got this" because for me maintenance will be a never ending battle. As long as I'm aware of what goes in my mouth then I will be ok!!

I will eventually get there on the smoking issue. It's not a matter of if but when. I'm dealing with some issues with my elderly father (87 years young) and unfortunately he has become a very bitter person. I'm all he has and I just dont have the heart to put him in a home but on the other hand his emotions also control me as well. It is a very upsetting/depressing situation for me right now and I'm allowing it to enable my smoking. I will eventually work it all out!!

What a wonderful post. I found your post about low b/s interesting. I recently upped my exercise and I feel horrible. I'm going to investigate my b/s levels and see if that is what is going on. Hubby is diabetic so I'll borrow some of his strips.

It's something to def check out. If you do find your BS low during or after exercise, you might want to check with your PCP or nut. My solution was fueling before/after exercising, which really we should be doing any way.

Good luck!!
