That's probably more of a soft food, and even then I might tell you to hold off. The beef is the issue for me. I can eat it fine now, but I remember at 2 months out when I first tried it, it was a bit of a struggle. I'd stick to puree's tuna/chicken salad and whatnot for a while longer. YMMV and follow your surgeon's advice, obviously.

i had it at the puree'd stage.. no issues.
get a small one and try it, thats the only way to know for sure.

I have been eating it since 3 weeks out. That was my first real food and it was HEAVEN!!! That first small chili lasted me 3 servings. At 6 months out I now eat about 1/2 of it. I get cheese & onions added. This is my basic go-to food if I am on the road and need to stop for something quick and easy.
