I'm so glad I changed my mind about the lap band and decided to go with the Sleeve....:)... I know I made the right decision..

I wish I was more well informed about the sleeve before hand...all I heard was how "less invasive, reversible, adjustable" the band was....it wound up being the worst mistake of my life.  I have only had the sleeve for a little less than 3 months and I love it...thank you God!!

I didn't read the article, but I knew when the lap band surgeon said "it's guaranteed for 15-20yrs" that I was no longer interested in it....not a matter of IF there are complications and it has to be removed, but WHEN....and I know I'd rather not be having surgery due to complications at age 60+
