Hi, this happened to me too when i was a few weeks out.At first i started getting nauseous after taking the BA chewables, then i started to throw up. After asking on here, some suggested i start taking them with a protein shake and as soon as I did that I stopped throwing up. I am now 3 months out and it has passed, but i do still take my vitamins with a protein shake. Try that and see how it goes.

You have a very tiny belly now! I have had to take them at bedtime ever since surgery and still do 10 months out!

They make me feel very nauseous too!!! I started cutting them in half and taking half right before I start eating my breakfast and the other half right before I eat supper.  That helped tremendously.

I am in the research and pre-op stage for VSG. I am concerned about this too becaue I always have to take my vitamins and prescriptions with water halfway through my meals with water or I become nauseous, and I take then with every meal. From what I have been reading, one cannot have water or liquids 1/2 hour before or after eating each each meal afer surgery. What can I do about this?

My Mom had RNY and she gave me a sample of her vitamins to try. About 10 minutes after taking them, I felt very nauseaus and dizzy and had to lie down. Once I ate, I felt better. Then this morning, I took my regular MVI on an empty tummy and got mildly nauseas. I think that I am going to have to take them with food or protein after my surgery.
