How do you break a stall?
Sleeved 5-7. Lost 17lbs in the first two weeks. Haven't lost a single pound in about a week and a half - almost two weeks. I haven't eaten more than 600- 700 calories max, been getting in my protien, could be better with water but not too bad. I'm walking 30 minutes a day every other day. So, does this count as a "stall". Someone on the board snapped at me saying it wasn't a stall until I was hadn't lost anything in over 2 weeks but I simply can't see why the scale won't move. So far really frustrated with everything but that's another post that I won't post here. Lesson learned. I'm concerned if it's a stall, what can I do and if it's not, do I need to talk to my doc as my fears of this surgery not working may be true. If this is a stall, what can I do to break it? Thanks in advance to the positive people who leave helpful & positive comments.
ahhh the inevitable 3 week stall.... it will pass and then another will come at 3 months and then again at 6 months. Just came off my 6 month stall. Lasted 3 weeks. The key is to keep doing what you are doing and wait for the stall to break. Don't let the stall break you ! Sometimes I mix it up a bit and up my carbs just a bit but then also move more, drink more and really focus on my protein intake!
Good luck... it will pass.

Sounds like you're doing a great job. Soon2b20 is right... it's the three week stall. It'll pass. Just keep moving forward. Mine lasted about 2 weeks, maybe a day or two beyond that.
The good news is that you're probably losing serious inches right now. The other good news is that a lot of people find that, when the stall does end, the weight drops pretty quickly for a while after that.
Be patient with your body. It's been through a lot in the last month.

Like others have said, just because your scale doesn't move (which is annoying, frustrating and mess with your head), doesn't mean that you aren't losing inches! Keep on walking. Keep pushing yourself, maybe try to walk 45 minutes or walk at a brisker pace. Keep concentrating on your protein intake and your water. Don't give up. We've all been through the dreaded three-week stall.
