Oh my gosh Oh my gosh!!!

I have been blessed. My surgery is going to be paid for by a family member - as a gift!!! Woot Woot!!! I have a date: 08/10/2012. I just sent away for my passport yesterday. So that is why I scheduled it out for August. I am in shock. VSG is new to me still. I spent months researching and preparing for RNY. I welcome all advice, tips, etc. Also I want to someday "pay it forward". Hmmm...I will have to work on that one.
On a side note...I appreciate all the insight I get here. ALL of YOU are amazing.

Lisa, I'm so excited for you! I've many times had prayers answered in ways I could never imagine. You go girl!!

My prayer was answered NOT AT ALL like I expected. God is so good!!!

Good for you!  I am going to be paying for my daughter's out of pocket.  She has health insurance but no WLS coverage.  Mama has to sell some stock to make it happen.  I am 18 weeks out myself and down 60 lbs since surgery.  You are going to love your sleeve once you get past the first month or so! Are you from Canada?  You don't have to have a passport to go to Mexico, as long as you don't fly in there.
