Lapband Revision to Gastric Sleeve at Kaiser, any ??
I am 1 day post-op and have made it through all the red tape. If anyone has Kaiser and have any questions, please contact me. I was happy to have people answer my questions on this site.

Sorry for the late response. Just trying to get everything back in order and stay awake. I initially went to Kaiser Fontana and the doctor told me that he wanted to remove my band and then I would need to gain ALL my weight back before I was banded and then he would "consider " giving me another WL surgery. I said "hell no"...that does not make any sense. SO, I talked to my primary care doctor and asked for a referral to another Kaiser for a second opinion. Since I worked close to LA, I went to the Kaiser out there. The doctor was very nice and reasonable. I did have to take the 3 months of the Options classes, but as soon as I was done, he scheduled my surgery. If you can and you live close to LA.....He is out of Kaiser LA, Dr. Khayat. Thank you so much for the reply. I'm glad to hear that you were able to get away from Fontana.
Unfortunately, a different Kaiser isn't much of an options for me. I work 8 miles from Kaiser Fontana and home is about 3 miles further than that. Now if I was able to take the Options classes in Fontana and go through Kaiser LA, I might try to do that but I don't think that is an options at this point.
I started my Options classes last week and today is my second class and I will be doing all of my labs tomorrow.

Hello need help I'm interested getting a revision from sleeve to bypass due to weight regain how can I go by doing that Fontana is where I go they are no help interested going somewhere else please help with any information
