Venus Skin Tightening?
Hey everyone. I'm getting surgery on Monday (completely freaking out about it!) anyways...today a doctor told me about Venus Skin Tightening.

She knows I'm getting sleeved and said this could really help me with skin issues if I did while I was loosing weight.. so basicly a series of month long treatments every 2-3 months for the first year of my weight loss. She said this would do wonders helping prevent sagging skin. It's not cheap & I'm far from rich...but I'm seriously considering it because it would be cheaper than plastics, non-painful & results are immediate. However, I haven't really read about anyone else doing this type of stuff along the way. Anyone have any feedback? Is it worth it or a waist of my money? Maybe not this exact skin tightener or another? Just curious.. Thanks for your time and feedback.

I haven't had surgery either, but definitely think about this issue. I'm skeptical to spend a lot of money on something like this unless you really see first hand experiences that this works. I would think it would be hard to tell on someone that has had WLS. With VSG you lose weight rather fast so the skin doesn't have time to adjust. I would image that with time and regular skin massaging (for blood flow which always improves healing) everyone will see some improvement in their skin. I'm thinking your money would be better spend on a gym membership and skin massages throughout your weightloss. Keeping or improving muscle tone will be the best way to keep your skin looking better...giving in a good frame.
But I am a skeptic about many things...if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...
