Chia Seeds: can anyone share their experience with them?

I'd picked up a bag not long before starting my 2-week pre-op diet because I'd been hearing such good things about them and had never seen them before in the store. So they are sitting on the shelf, waiting for me to be able to use them. Thank you for posting this thread--they sound awesome!!! (and thank you INGirl for the suggestions!)

I'm in! I love flax seeds and reading this post gave me the nudge to try Chia seeds. Just ordered mine, looking forward to trying them!
