I would go to a store and let them fit a bra to you so you would get an idea of what to do the next time.

Yep... definitely let someone at a store that sells bras measure you. We can't possibly predict what size you'll need next, because our bodies lose the weight at different places at different times.

Highest weight: 277 Starting Weight: 250  Surgery Weight: 241  Current Weight: 130

Goal Reached in 10.5 months :)

Ditto on what the others have said. Definitely get measured. That will ensure a much better fit than if you go on any assumption like cup size before band, or vice versa.

Much as I hate to pay what I've been paying for the bras I need, I'll probably go through a few more of the "ridiculously expensive" ones before getting into the uh, "less demanding" sizes. Gosh, I can't imagine being in a less demanding size. But I was in need of new ones before surgery so it won't be long before I'm hitting Lady Grace or Cacique again for new measurements. Le sigh. :)

What I did last time was get them to fit me with a bra band extender.  The bra was smaller around the band which gave me lots of room to lose around rib cage before it got too big again. The extenders are available most anywhere, in white/black/beige, and in 3/4 hook styles.  As for cup size well that is a whole other issue.

I plan on wearing sports bras for as long as I can, (thats what I've been wearing the past year b/c all my bras are too tight and their to expensive to keep buying) But I had a breast reduction years ago, so I realize that large breasted women wont be able to do this.... good luck.  I like the advice of a tight bra with extenders, that may last ya a bit longer.

Hi I will be getting sleeved in June 2012 and I also had a breast reduction years ago. I have been concerned that I would end up with really little breast. Can you tell me if you lost alot of your breast size?

OMG how ironic...I went bra shopping yesterday..... My bras were fitting crazy this week. Since I'm back to work, cant have that...oh, no....
I went to marshalls .... check them out...!
I got Olga bra's for 5.99 and 9.99. Perfect since I know I will be buying bras again soon.
As far as sizing I just guessed and was on target
But please do get fitted like the ladies suggested.

I just skip the bra section and hit up the hardware section for ultra strength duck tape - cheaper and works wayy better (if you dont mind the uni-boob look).
