NSV----FOOD
In our office we always have food, pretzels, candy and just plain food. Today as usual, one coworker offer me some jordan almonds and another coworker offered me some garlic bread and of course I said no thanks. My one coworker with the plate of garlic bread in his hand immediately said " you are the only person I know that says no to food". I just smiled and kinda of had a proud look on my face.
I too struggle every day, but I'm no means the poster child for VSG. I do know that I like life a lot better now and if I don't loose another pound it is okay as long as I don't gain another pound. I just continue to eat right most of the time and try to do some sort of exercise. I am sending positive energy your way. Remember, stress is deadly. BREATH BABY, BREATH!!!

I know how you feel, this is the first time in my LIFE I actually don't want everything I see, even in pre-op dieting I would turn food away but it would bring me to tears, literally. But now,, and mind you I'm only three weeks out, my body has almost completely stopped craving unhealthy stuff (for the most part, my weakness is chocolate + peanutbutter!) Its such an awesome feeling to BE ABLE to walk away from food. Im right there with ya!!!!!
