Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie, and I'm pre-op VSG. I'm hoping to be "on the other side" within the next month and a half. I don't have a date yet, but am expecting it to be sometime the end of May or beginning of June. The sooner, the better! I live in Austin, TX but am having the surgery in Southern California (no Kaiser in TX, and since they cover the cost, it was kind of a no-brainer for me). I look forward to meeting new people here, and hearing about experiences, struggles, victories, etc. :]

Welcome !!! I had my VSG through Kaiser, although I had a contract surgeon and hospital for the actual surgery.... Much luck on your journey !

I'm having my surgery on 4/24 and so far it's been an interesting ride. I hope you've done your research and are very excited. This is a wonderful site and a great place to come to vent or celebrate!! Congrats on your decision.
