A little Concerned
I had my period regularly before and after surgery but no period at all last month. 2-3 weeks ago, I started taking Citracel for fiber and have gained about 10 pounds. My eating habits and exercise habits have not changed. Here's a sample of what I usually eat/exercise.
B: cottage cheese w/ ff swiss
S: chicken/tuna salad w/ whole wheat ritz crackers
L: chicken/tuna salad w/ whole wheat ritz crackers
S: ? maybe yogurt--protein drink,
D: chicken, fish
I have been eating the crackers since about 2 months out and have never had a issue.
fluids: 60-70oz a day includes isopure protein drink
exercise: 30 minute walk 4-5 days a week
zumba class: 2 times a week (stopped for about 2months, started again 2-3 weeks ago)
Any thoughts........right before my period was due on March 22nd I dropped down to 215 now I am at 224-226

I know it's personal but how are you doing in the #2 department?

My gut reaction is the increase in fiber is causing an increase in water retention. If you want to keep up with the fiber I'd try upping your water to 100oz a day and see where it gets you.
