4 weeks postoperative today and I've lost

Congratulations on your success thus far. If you don't have the nutritional support, it can be a VERY daunting task. Look up Forest Park Medical Center(in Dallas). On their website under weight loss surgery, there is a download(very large). It is the manual that is handed to the bariatric patients before surgery. It gives you sample diets and what to eat and not to eat along the way as well as tracking sheets to record your stats and food. Maybe that will help with the "eat this, don't eat that" thing.
I eat greek yogurt(non fat), pork, chicken, beef, and seafood. I still only eat 3 oz. at most of dense meats and no veggies or additional food. I can eat 5 oz. of yogurt, but it stays with me for over an hour. I still don't always get in all my fluids but I do get close, and every day does get better.
For me, there are some days I just can't eat. I can take a few bites and it's clear to me that I won't be getting anything to stay down. Those are just my VERY low-cal days and I make sure I get my fluids on days like that. And then there are other days where I feel I can eat quite a bit more(I eat more often, never more at any sitting).
You are doing fine and being a "slow loser" isn't a bad thing. My loss was very fast at first(water weight, I'm sure) and now its slowed down considerably. I haven't changed what I'm eating so this is just the way my body loses. Don't compare yourself to anyone else or you will drive yourself crazy. Your loss is your success and no one else's so there is no need for comparison(I'll flag this post to remind myself of that next week when I start comparing myself to others
)
Again, congrats on your success thus far. Keep working your sleeve and using your tools. You seems quite vigilant and dedicated to getting the right information and using it. I hope you find what you are looking for and I wish you much continued success.
