 Just drink water.

Plain ol' water.  It's enough.

So grab whatever bottled water you like, or buy a Britta/Pur filter.

Your choice of water isn't going to be a success factor in your surgery.

i use a britta filter.  keep it in my fridge.  im not going to pay all that money for bottled water when i can do it myself at home.  it tastes very good too.

most bottled water is just filtered tap water. you can get flavors and do it yourself. When I was first out of surgery I liked my water with a lemon taste. I did not use real lemon right a way so I used sugar free kool aid with a little bit of equal or splenda. I was turned off of sweets after surgery.  Now I drink water with real lemon sort of lemon aide now. But there are so many flavors out there. Get a variety and just try each after surgery. Your taste change so much that its not really worth it to stock up on something you like now.  Good luck...

Crystal Lite makes many different flavors , I have even seen Margarita (Target stores-I think it was Crystal Lite brand). If you want plain water then definitely a Brita filter is a great idea that will save money. Isopure Zero Carb(Vitamin Shoppe stores) contains 40g protein and is also a good choice-my nutritionist recommended it for the clear liquid post op phase, After surgery I've found that my tastes have changed and regular water , which I used to love, tastes different now and doesn't always go down as well as it used to, so be prepared to possibly  try different flavors and don't stockk up on too many of one particular flavor.

Right after surgery my plan was to have either smar****er or powerade daily for a month, it's the electrolytes in it.
