Doctors visit
Well yesterday was my 5 month check up and to my surprise my doctor said looks like I have lost enough weight. HAHAHAHAHA, really? Never heard that in my entire life! A real victory! He said with my height I really am within my weight range, so I have decided to lose 5 - 7 more and begin my maintenance phase.
Now that's a scary thought. I have lost lots of weight in the past and never did maintenance thus, gained all the weight back. I am hoping and praying with all the positive forces I now possess, (OH, sleeve, new eating habits, support system, a regular excercise program) that I can maintain my weight loss. I know this journey is not over and will never be over for me. The demons are all around me, if you have ever seen the movie A Beautiful Mind, my husband says I need to be like Professor Nash, know that they are there but, CHOOSE to ignore them!
Thank you all for your help in this beginning phase of my journey, I am sure I will continue to be reaching out for support and assistance in the next chapter of my journey.
