Prescriptions

Can I have any post-op prescriptions now so that I don't have to fill them on the way home from the hospital?

 My surgeon gave me prescriptions for Pepcid and Percocette and advised me to get them filled before surgery which I did, and fortunately I never needed to use the Percocette (pain med). Also see if your doctor recommends either liquid or chewable multivitamins and chewable calcium. If you get any pills you will also need a pill crusher. And, if you are already on any prescriptions let your doctor know so that you can find out if you can still take them post of, and get those re-filled also.
