Had my sleeve surgery early yestesday morning. gotta tell you, when i opened my eyes, i was so thankful to be alive! i was really scared about that... sad right? started walking around around 5pm last night, walked every 2 hours since then. the nurses would wake me up every 2 hours and i would do laps in the hospital. did well, not too painful. had upper GI this morning, sailed through it. finally got some water and crystal light to drink. advanced to mushy phase tonight. stay on this phase for 4-6 weeks.

tomorrow, i start to sip sip sip and work on some protein intake.
still can't believe it's done. so scared pre-op!! now... time to lose the weight, i'm ready!

thanks everyone!
i swear i feel like i didn't have any surgery at all.
then i try to gulp some water and remember... ouch.
yes my doctor tries mushies before you leave the hospital.
won't release you unless they are sure you can tolerate mushies.
granted very little, even one little bite but wants to make sure you can keep it down and don't experience any pain.
so far, so good...
