OT: Officially a new Gmom today

Congrats GMom!! I will be a nana in October and am so excited. My grand girl is 10 and unfortunately I wasnt able to do much with her while she was growing up. I'm now looking forward to being a healthy nana to both of them now. The grand girl and I are already making plans about what we are going to do as soon as the baby is old enough. She's going to make a great big sister!!

Well first thing first...welcome to the grandparent club I tell you, it's a whole new ballgame. I have 4, the first one came with my SIL when my DD got married, then 3 more. One of the reasons for my future VSG is so that I can have better quality of life when I get to visit them. They are a 3 day drive, 1 way. Anyway, enjoy every moment you have with her. Oh, and you don't look old enough to have grown kids.

Thanks Linda! I know about that long drive thing to go see them. Its 18 hours one way for me if the honey is driving. 24 if I am (i take lots of pit stops to take pics lol) and thank you as well for the lovely compliment!
