My op went very well. No neausea, no bruising,no gas pains, no sore throat.
However I'm not feeling rescrition like some people explain it.
11 days out.
drinking 64 oz, protien, soup yoghurt no problems, so what the hells going on!!! I do consume these slowly. Can drink 40mls sip chug king of motion then wait 30 secs to 1min and repeat.
If I hadn't seen my xray of my sleeve I wouldnt believe it.
Are there others that dont feel restriction also??

From what others here have said in other threads, liquids will be easier to get down after the first few days, and then you won't really notice any restriction until you start eating dense proteins.

Glad you haven't had any discomfort in your healing. I can't wait to see how you do later on!

Your tummy isn't swollen so you can get your liquids and protein in.  I was the same.  It's a lot better than being at the other end of the spectrum.

I wondered for 2 weeks whether the surgeon had removed my stomach.  Trust me, you'll feel restriction when you get to denser foods.  In the meantime, enjoy the ride!

I felt the same way....but man oh man, those dense proteins are restricted for sure! Had 1.5 oz of turkey for dinner tonight and that was all I could get in (I could eat a 1/2 cup yogurt or cottage cheese or pudding with NO PROBLEM) so you definitely feel restriction better with those proteins you will be eating. My portions on my plate looks like something I would hand to a toddler in a high chair to eat for dinner. And sometimes I can't finish the teeny little meal!

LOVE. MY. SLEEVE! You will too!

I know it sounds funny but so far the only thing that I have felt restriction with is applesauce. I can eat yogurt, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and protein drinks with no feeling of restriction but if I put applesauce in my tummy I feel it.

There is only one success--to be able to spend your life in your own way.

I did not feel any restrictions at all until I started soft foods and now I feel it that's why they put us on liquids and smooth food to let our sleeves heal. You WILL feel the restrictions I was in your shoes last week. I can still drink a lot at a time but i am getting some restriction with fluids.
