I thought this might happen...

I have posted before about these psychological points in my weight history - every 30 pounds or so - 260, 230, 200, 170.  Historically, I tend to either give up (normally) or spend a longer time at these points.  So after losing 4.5 pounds in one week to get to 199.4, I have bounced around 199.2 to 200.6 for ten days now.  I can't help but think it is all in my head, and to the extent it affects my food choices.  This happened at 230, too.

After ten days, I think (?) I might be ready to say goodbye to the 200s.  I'm going to spend some time thinking about what it did for me, being a 200+ lb woman, and what it means to be smaller.  I'm going to eat on the low end of my calorie range and push the protein and water.  And see what it feels like.  I'll let you know!!

Good luck to you!  I'm sure if you stick with it, you will say goodbye to the 200s!!

By the way, you had your surgery on my birthday! 

I haven't had mine yet and not sure when it will be scheduled, but I'm hoping for mid-April. 

You can do it!!

 I'm hovering as well.  199.6 to 202 then 199.8.  And I am so frigging sick of protein drinks.  I am eating the protein as much as I can usually 1 oz. at a time.

Yes we can!  I actually love my protein coffee (coffee plus one scoop of protein with about 3 oz of almond milk).  Have you tried the Unjury Chicken Soup?

You have this every which way.  You are right, this might be partially psychological or it can be a set point from before.  It doesn't much matter, as you would treat it in the same way anyway.  I have always liked rituals, so I might find a special way to say good bye to my 200 pound self and welcome my new slimmer me.  I would be very kind and grateful to my 200 pound me and wish well, but insist she now needs to go.  As I said, you totally got this.
