are you prepared?

Hi everyone!
I'm leaving for India on Thuresday for Surgery, and boy I have been busy this week will fly.
I will be away for 10 days, and have been quite shocked how ill prepared my hubby and kids are to be left alone. lol.
To tell you the truth they are bloody useless, the kids I expect but hubby????
I'm spring cleaning as know I'll be limited when I get back.
I've made about 4 weeks of meals for them, to let me ease back into things as I recover.
And have had to write pages of to do lists, oh **** I forgot to add feed the dog! Better write that down too.
Laugh I kid you not!

Georgie, I feel you girl! I had to make an emergency trip to Wyoming in October and was gone for 6 days. I am still hearing from friends and family here about how horrible it was for the honey and kiddo to function while I was gone. I was gone for 6 days not 6 months but I came home to a disaster area of a house and found out they had eaten fast food the whole time I was gone... and I dont even cook that much so that couldnt have been a valid excuse. It's nice to know the men folks are lost without us but it makes you wonder "hoe the heck did they survive before we showed up in their lives??" lol. I hear you about adding feed the pets to the TO DO list... I had to give detailed instructions on how to feed and clean the betta bowls while I was gone otherwise I would have come home to 14 floating fish. Thank god the cats have figured out how to get into the cat food bag on their own or they would have starved to death lol.
