what an experience that was (good) I had no problems (as of yet) the surgery went good all was just what they wanted recovery was good.the first day was hard nausea but when that went away it was good. I was sipping and walking like a mad man well the walking at least it was tough to get the liquid in with the IV and all. now I am home I have three things next to me to drink. any ideas would be welcome for how to get all the water in. I will update later getting sore and need a nap.

my husband and I had it on Monday, and SF popcicles were really good for us on our "clear liquid" days, and Powerade Zero, that was another good thing.

I am still on a pre op diet. Sorry I don't have any advice. I just wanted to say welcome home and I'm so glad it went well. Please keep us posted on your progress....

Congratulation to you all. Glad things are going well. You are doing the right things, sipping and walking, but don't forget to "toot" too! You will feel better getting that gas out of your system.
We have all scooted over on the Loser's Bench for you!!! Yeah!!

Congratulations!

Each day it will be easier for you to swallow small sips of fluid which will help you drink all that you're supposed to.  I have a 24 oz T**vis Tumbler with a lid that I keep filled and next to me.  I laugh that it's like an adult sippy cup.  Sometimes it's water.  Sometimes it's a mix of juice and water.  Whatever, it's always with me so I can sip sip sip.

So glad you did well. I am 11 days out. My only suggestion is to have things to drink you like....I really enjoyed having different flavors of the Sobe LifeWater 0 calories around. I liked the idea that they have vitamins in them.  I tried the Crystal Lite too - ehhh.. take it or leave it. Just whatever is healthy and tastes good to YOU!  It seems like drinking and eating are now a part time job!!!!  I also enjoy hot decaf tea with splenda and 2 T of FF can milk  (2 gms of protein).

Congratulations! Something that helped me with liquids in the early days was knowing whether my sleeve liked warm, cold or room temperature liquids. I couldn't do iced liquid at all. Warm felt wonderful - the broth, soup or Unjury chicken soup protein. Helped me stay hydrated and get protein in at the same time. Also used ramen soup broth packet (gave my sister the noodles) with Unjury unflavored protein - got some variety of savory flavor that way. The sweet protein drinks get old fast. Good luck!
