I urge you all. Good tip for those with families to cook for.
If you have spare time , then make and freeze meals
I have been making heaps for my surgery away and for when I get back.
If I feel good I can cook, if not I whip out a meal out of the freezer and wala!
I'm trying to make about 20-30 I'm away for a fortnight, so my hubby wont need to cook as he works very hard long hours, and for when I get back so I dont need to struggle with everything.
So if you have spare time then help yourself by doing this now.
Any other useful tips like this would be greatly appreciated, you may notice I'm a total contral freak and organizer!

Very good idea. It's also helpful to prep some mushy foods for yourself. I blended up chicken/gravy or other sauces, and some veggies separately and put them into ice cube trays; once frozen, I bagged up enough for individual meals. It saves time, and is easy to grab the proper amount because each cube is about 1 oz.
