Yeah baby... the middle seat!!
I am on a last-minute business trip. So I booked the day before, have 5 segments in 3 days and have been in the middle seat 2 of the 3 times so far. And was just FINE!! This was my nightmare before losing weight, that I would book too late to get a window or aisle seat. Instead, I did great! I love my sleeve!! Plus the tray didn't touch at all!! I felt kinda normal.

Thank you, Elina. Today I actually believe I've earned it! I love traveling more than anything else, I don't have expensive toys and I've lived in the same house for 20 years because I'd rather spend money traveling. So it was a real bummer that *flying* caused me so much anxiety. Today I actually feel calm as a ponder my one-stop return flight. Thanks so much for your support.

I'm SO nervous about this. I haven't traveled without buying a 2nd seat in... well, 15 years probably! I have a trip coming up at the end of March. I made sure to get window seats, but I figure I'll be around 245 or so and I should be able to do that with one seat. If I end up in a middle seat, I'll die. LOL

I am 5'6" and while we all carry our weight a little differently, I didn't have trouble flying at 245. I found I needed a seat belt extender at 270+, but was pretty comfortable (relatively speaking) at 245 in a window seat. You'll do great!!

Yeah, I traveled in October around 290 and one I didn't need an extension for and the armrest ALMOST went all the way down (it actually did, but it was a TIGHT fit. I'm thinking I'll be fine, but still, it's that unknown and that little voice in my head. LOL! I doubt the tray table will go down, but I'll settle with fitting into the seat. I have a direct flight there and back so whew!
