Carbonation is not a good idea for our sleeves, especially as early out as you are. Don't give in!

I'm a pop addict, but once I have all the pop our of my fridge I'm quitting cold turkey and don't plan on returning even after 6 months after surgery (fingers crossed)

suitebliss, you can do it! I was a Diet Coke addict of the worst kind. I had my last one a few days before surgery last June and haven't touched it since. I don't even want it any more!

Avoid it if possible, especially that early out. I am 2+ years out, and I've only had a few sodas. I used to be thoroughly addicted to diet dr pepper, but now the carbonation stings my throat. If I do have one, I have to have it on ice and slightly watered down.

my surgeon said no more carbonated drinks at all....ever.... because the carbonation will stretch your sleeve over time....

no more carbonated water even...no more carbonation
