Stalled again

Four months today, weigh the same as I did last week so guessing this is my three month stall grrr. I am happy with my weight loss so far but don't like stalls, I am losing inches though so I try to focus on inches more these days because I found watching the scale does get frustrating after the first few months. I got a belt probably at the two month mark so I could keep my pants from drooping so much, first hole on the belt and I am now at the fourth hole.

You have pretty impressive numbers there for each month. I hope to get my numbers back up to at least 10 lbs a month.

Hi Jackie,
I agree with you, watching the scale is frustrating. I myself go by how my clothes are fitting. Belts are a good way to measure as well. I have already had to toss out two belts because they don't fit anymore. I'm more interested in losing inches than I am weight loss. I'm exercising, so I know I'm building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. Keep up with your plan and you will break this stall in no time.

I'm a slow loser, and I stay at the same wt for days at a time. I think there are so many factors in play.. our water intake, our salt intake, our food choices, our energy put out etc...
For myself I know  I'm not getting in all the water I should be and I don't notice drops in lbs til a day  or two after a good workout.

Don't fret too much.. you seem to b doing well it will all come off in it's own time... it's your job to make sure you are doing the best at meeting all your requirements and then the wt will reflect it, maybe not right away but it will eventually.

Yeah I know the week before TOM I don't lose any, so was expecting a loss this week but nope, so must be a stall and was eating well and drinking at least 64 oz of water and taking my vitamins.

I am starting a gym for a trial period later this week but I can't really see myself dishing out 60 bucks a month for a gym. So tv exercise it is going to be or a stationary bike it is too cold here now to walk very far.

I did eat too many carbs over the holidays but now away from my parents house and back on track but only 6 lbs this month is a bummer. Guess I gotta work a bit harder this month and blow these numbers off of the scale lol.

Oh I hate stalling!!! Haven't dropped a pound since they ok'd me to advance to stage 3 last week.

I wouldn't describe it as frustrating - in my case, my head starts playing tricks on me.  Like thinking through my head about what I ate that day and wondering if I over-did it (like it's physically possible to overdo stuff!!!!).  I tried measuring myself so I could compare but my measurements SUCK!  I do have an old belt, so I'm going to try that today.

I found I stalled at every stage while my body adjusted to the new foods. If I didn't stall then it seemed like i didn't lose for a couple of days.

Oh one minute my head was playing games thinking I wasn't losing as fast as others but when I seen the total amount I knew I have never lost that much before in that time period and then I got thinking I was losing too fast. Your turn will come when it really makes ya think.

I still don't notice a difference other then in my pants, my sister said to me yesterday she noticed it really coming off in my shoulder area and mom was like well come on you must notice it, but honestly I don't.

Oh I will get there and you will too. I just had good food around me all the xmas holidays and went through the stress of losing a 5 yr old in the family. I do so much better around my house cause I don't have the extras around. I come home lose a few pounds then TOM so I knew I wasn't going to lose any for a week then I didn't lose any this past week so must be a stall. Oh well drinking like a fish today to see if that gets the ball rolling.
