Yikes peeps! I need help. I have just sat down to pay my holiday shopping bills and wow I got out of control shopping for clothes! I am so enjoying my new body and love how I look in clothes. That being said I went overboard on spending and now I am kind of disappointed with myself.

Anyone else out there experience this? I hope I am not starting a new habit....well if I did, it stops right now. I will go broke. Going to make the gym my new obsession!

It get's expensive when you need a entire new wardrobe. I spent and I made a promise to myself I will not be buying any more clothes until Spring.
Hopefully I will have my cc paid off by than!

Yes thanks all for the support! I have to hang on until after spring sometime before I allow myself to indulge again. But it's so FUN!!!

Well I am still wearing my size 22 jeans with a BELT, When they started to get baggy I got a belt was on the first hole, 2nd, 3rd and now the 4th hole. My jeans were all mostly tight at my starting time so I had room to lose and some were skinny jeans so they still all look ok as long as they are held up good with the belt. I have a few size 16 jeans that my sister gave me and I brought a pair, yes just 1 pair of size 17 skinny jeans that will probably last me a few months. I refuse to spend much money on clothing right now until I get at a more stable weight. Plus I really don't have the cash to buy much, my kids come first. I had wet feet today at work and in the cold that is not the greatest feeling but was asked where my boots were, I don't own any that would keep the moisture out so maybe next winter if my feet shrink. I am even wearing a winter coat that is so baggy on me but there is no way I will buy one smaller this year, I can just hope that spring comes early. I think in the spring when I start wearing less clothes people at work might notice more, or they just not saying too much right now, lots notice it and maybe the others just don't want to say too much. Right now it is hard to tell where I am wearing baggy clothes and layers of shirts lol, I can't handle the cold!!!

Yes, and that's what got me started on couponing and being a truly frugal shopper. I did replace my entire wardrobe, shoes included, but I did it in a very frugal fashion. I shopped clearance, waited for special deals at my local stores.

I admit that shopping fills a huge void. Not from food, but because I stopped working after my revision, and it keeps me entertained. Even if I'm just shopping for basic household products, and hygiene items, I love it. Plus, I'm a "moderate" couponer, okay extreme in some regards exept I refuse to swipe shelves clean, but I have amassed enough samples/freebies and couponed enough free body washes, razors, shampoos/conditioners, deodorants that I literally will not have to purchase any of those items for the next year. My pantry is stockpiled as well, plus it's labeled alphabetically, and a family of four could shop in my pantry and freezers for a solid 2-3 weeks.

It's addictive and very easy to get in over my head and that's what turned me into a crazy couponer.
