North Texas Meet & Greet anyone?

Yes it's definitely nice to have someone not too far away as a fellow sleever. Copperas cove is about 25 minutes from me.

Chelle we met at Blue Mesa Grill in Southlake last year. I really wanted to do an outdoor get together but I waited to long and it was just too hot. I will be looking at locations in a centrally located area between Fort Worth and Dallas so hopefully it will be easier for all to attend.

Sorry to go OT, but, NanaDebby65...  I see your surgeon was Dr. Kim (from Colleyville?) I have a consultation with him on the 11th.  What is he like? 

I have two potential surgeons I'm looking at Dr. Kim and Dr. Nicholson in Plano (I see him the same week)..

PkSteph, Dr Kim is a very direct to the point type surgeon. He is good at what he does. I've actually had 2 surgeries by him. The VSG and 6 months later my gallbladder had to come out. I had no complications with either surgery and really felt I was in good hands both times.

Now that being said, Dr Kim does not have an out going personality. He is very soft spoken and admits he is not really a people person. All my follow ups have been with his PA/Nut, David. I have absolutely no problem with this. I LOVE his staff!! Everyone there is sooo helpful and supportive. I cannot tell you how many times I called nurse Pam during my recovery time. I only had to leave a message 1 time and she called me back within 30 minutes. I honestly cannot say enough good about them.
