band to sleeve
VSG on 04/06/12
I am considering having it done ...... I would like feedback to help me make a decision...Thanks
I'm 2.5 years out from my band to VSG revision.
If you have specific questions, feel free to ask. It was the very best decision I ever made, and would do it 100 times over to live the life I have today.
The sleeve is everything the band is advertised to be without all the bull**** sliming, food getting stuck, puking, fills/unfills, and I seriously eat all foods. No restrictions on what I can eat. The only things that settle heavy in my sleeve are scrambled eggs and pork chops. Which neither of those were favorites of mine, and I do not miss them at all.
I am heading out of state for vacation tomorrow and won't have great access to this site. But, if you shoot me a message and I'll reply as soon as I can.

I had the LapBand in 2007 and removed in 2010. I am just shy of 3 weeks from getting my sleeve and am so glad I did it. I was miserable with my Band. I could never get the fills right & threw up every day. So far, I am down 18 lbs and feel really good. Not to say I didn't have "buyer's remorse"...I had moments where I could not believe I had a surgery that is not reversible. Now, that I am recovering so well and losing steadily, I am really glad I made the decision I did. Good luck to you-there are many, many of us out here that had the Band and now are sleeved.
