revision, vit. question....
An adult, high quality multivitamin and a sublingual b12 would be a good place to start. Vitalady offers a great Vit D supplement that a lot of RNY patients use. You can get b12 sublinguals and b1 at any retailer. I take Celebrate chewable multi completes and have for over a year. My labs have remained stellar since I was post-op. Celebrate also offers a chewable calcium that I take. You can email Celebrate at [email protected] tell them you are going to be having a revision to VSG and they will send you a sample pack of their vitamins for free (even shipping is free).
You can also check out this huge document from the ASMBS on nutrtion and vitamin guidelines post-bariatric surgery. Click on the bookmark section to the left for vitamin supplementation. It's a long, medical read, but it gives great information.
