Okay, so this might be a little gross

But I just figured something out. The week that aunt flow arrives for her monthly visit, I drop a huge amount of weight (well for me   He He).

It happened last month right after a Halloween party.  I thought going off track might have done it somehow. Then today I was all excited about losing 4 lbs again, and thinking who this hasn't happened since...... after the Halloween party. He He. I was like hmmm that was just about a month ago and then I finally realized the connection. So, then I went through my loses each week going back, sure enough, my big loses were all 4 weeks apart. So, that's good to know!

Sometimes I get kind of worried seeing 1 lb on the scale for a whole week. Now I know some of it is probably water weight storing up to see if I am planning on another baby. Ahhhhhh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  He He, been there done that! He He

Anyway, I thought this might help someone else to understand or watch to see if their cycle is affecting their weight loss cycle too. It kind of made me feel like the 1 or 2 lb weeks are nothing to freak out about now:)

Just thought I would share. Sorry if it was TMI.

Hmm. That's interesting. I figured it happened to most of us women. I hear ya on the stall though. Mine slows down quiet a bit but then drops like 4-5lbs in a week, which for me is a big jump.

I guess we are all different. My youngest child is nine, so I guess my body is still holding out hope for more. He He

Anyways, thanks for your reply!

Crissy,
I have seen a similar pattern.  It seems odd, but I'm not complaining.

I think my body stores up for the possible baby and then once it figures out it's a no go, it drops whatever it was saving up.

I'm just glad when it drops! He He

That is very common on low-carb diets.
It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not.

I wondered. It makes sense though, I guess I just never noticed it before.

I love your signature line by the way!

Thanks for your input!
