peer to peer meeting

Its been 3 weeks and still did not hear anything about the peer to peer I guess i will just have to do a appeal

I'm sorry to hear you are still waiting. I have always thougth that no news is good news. I am hoping that is the case for you. Did they give you any time frame on how long it taks for the peer to peer meeting to happen?

the peer to peer should of been happend I dont know whats going on I am going to call the surgeon office tomorrow I am also waiting on my my 5 year weight from my gyn to send in with my appeal letter

I got my denial in the mail that morning, called my doctor and that afternoon he had the peer to peer.  Maybe your surgeons office has not scheduled it, the ins co. has several people who could do it.  I'd call my Dr's ofc.

I don't  know what insurance you have, but UHC approved me during the peer to peer.  Is there someone you can call and ask about the procedure?

Did you start your 6 pre op program?
That may have some impact on the denial

thats what it is i never did my 6 month pre op program i was told i didnt need to all i had to do was get the 5 year weight history and i did that, now they saying i might have to do the 6 month pre op program
