Just wondering what is everyone eating and the amounts.

I basically have

B - 1.5 eggs with 3/4 of a tablespoon of mayo for salad
L - 1/2 cup of chili (made it with all meats, peppers and mushrooms and a can of tomatoes)
D - 1/2 cup of fish chowder which is practically making me sick but to get rid of it I want to fini**** up just put a little bit of milk in it and all fish.

1 protein shake a day
64 oz of water or more
I am getting all my protein in, carbs are around 20 a day
Some days I have a snack of cheese or 1/5th of a quest bar.

I know this doesn't sound right because my head is playing games, I think I should be losing more then 2 lbs a week at 2.5 months out but I also know the amount I have lost is lots and wonder sometimes if I am losing too fast?

I have steak in my chili, finely chopped up lol. I used hamburger, canadian bacon, steak and a bit of sausage. It definitely is missing the kidney beans and my stomach still doesn't like spicy foods but I need a break from the blah chicken breast, tuna thing that I have been eating none stop.

I have a sick lil one at home and not able to get out and get my walking in but I intend to do some cleaning during nap time. Lately I have been climbing the biggest hill after work for my work out, had a night of shovelling after a snow storm and going to start my exercise program soon when I cannot get out for walks. My sick baby wants to go for walk but right now I think my baby should rest and get better for the holidays.

and WOW at your 66 lbs lost already that is awesome. I found when I reached 250's that was cool cause it has been awhile since I seen these numbers, then the 240's were like WOW because it was probably the lowest I had made it last time I was on the atkins but now I am in the 230's and it has been about 20 yrs since I seen 230's. I know for sure it was 20 yrs since I seen the 190's so that is going to be a very big surprise come that time. Oh well a few more months and it should happen at this rate. I hope to get back up to bigger loses each month I have 7 down already this month and have two more weeks to go. Pokey I call it but when I look at the total amount since my surgery I think it is a big amount for this time out.

Hi,

I normally have my protein shake for breakfast then 1/2 cup of chili or half of a small salad for lunch then just a small piece of meat and a small portion of a green veggie for dinner. I have indigestion really (I mean REALLY) bad so it's difficult for me to eat very much but, my weight loss has seemed to taper off a little bit in November. I lost less than 2 lbs a week this last month even though the scale is still dropping. I have increased my protein intake so I am hoping that this will help kick things off again.

Yes I find that weird if I eat a protein snack in the evenings, usually another meal I seem to lose more weight, I can't figure that out.

I was told that I am in starvation mode at the 600 calories and my body is holding onto all calories for dear life and when I eat more for a few days it is almost like my body is saying, ok she is feeding us, it is ok to burn some energy instead of holding onto it.

Hope you understand that lol. I haven't introduced green veggies yet but will soon, I just find once I get my protein in I am full. I did have some green string beans a couple of times but that was it.

I'm doing great, feeling wonderful! I've lost 61 lbs and am more than halfway to goal.

On a typical day, I'll eat 1/3 of a hamburger patty w/ cheese, an ounce or two of rotisserie chicken, a few almonds or cashews, 1-2 protein shakes, and 1/4 cup of lowfat cottage cheese, with maybe a sugarfree pudding before bed.

It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not.

Yeah I was wondering if I tried to get back to 2 protein shakes a day if I would have a greater loss. I see you are just speeding with your weight loss and was wondering how you were doing it.

I have about 90 more lbs to go but might make it only 80 or 70 depending on what I feel like at each stage.

I don't count calories or carbs or fat and I don't track what I eat, yet I do choose foods that are generally low in calories & carbs but high in vitamins, minerals & fiber.

I have certain staples that I eat a lot of (rotisserie chicken, lean ground beef, cheese, cottage cheese) and I avoid starchy foods and anything with more than 3-5 grams of sugar per serving.

It's weird, because my days are wildly different. Some days I'm not hungry & don't eat a thing until 5:00 or 6:00 at night, but other days I eat every few hours. This is part of the reason I don't count or track; if I have a not-hungry day, I'm not going to force myself to eat, and if I have a hungry day, I'm not going to deprive myself. That would be too much like dieting, which I never want to do again. Besides, I remember from when I did Atkins that varying the amount of carbs you take in from day to day can prevent stalls; maybe there's something to that because I'm nearly 3 months out and haven't stalled yet, other than about 4-5 days during the dreaded 'three week stall' that most everyone experiences. I'm steadily losing 3-4 lbs per week.
