Ok I'm 6 months out of surgery and blam emergency gall bladder surgery.  Back off work and more holes.  Recovery not as bad but doc tells me 10% of vsg have to have gall bladder out.  Oh my what a painful experience.  any one had a gall bladder issue????

I had my GB out concurrently with VSG.  Was having attacks from last December up until the surgery.

With it out you may have some "dumping" issues with any fats, milk, even salad.  When the liver releases the bile, it has no where to go so then you dump (diahrea).  It clears up in a couple of months and if it gets too bad they can give you something for it.

Good luck!

I had mine out at the same time as my VSG surgery. I have had attacks in the past and didn't want to have to have more surgery any time soon.
Hope you feel better soon.

I was 6 months out and it came out of me to. My wls told me the same thing he said because of the protein and weight loss this happens to all most all of us. Just a matter of time i guess it would happen fast like with us or 2 years down the road he said. But I am doing great with out it and feel so much better.

Hope you recover fast.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.
