240 today, was so happy to get out of the 250's
Month 2 really sucked for me, I know this is not a race but was expecting to lose more then 11 lbs. I hit a two week stall then TOM again that gave me another week at the same weight. So frustrating when that happens. Today I got on the scale and seen 240.0 right on. I was so happy to get out of the 250s now I can't imagine that I am hitting the 230's. I am 5 lbs away from my first goal of 50 lbs which I had set for xmas but I think I might hit it before the end of November. My next goal is to be below 200.
I guess the scale just shocked me today and starting to think this is happening way too fast yet my mind thinks in a way I should be losing more. This is just playing mind games with me.
Just had to rant, I am excited and love my crystal lite, I cannot drink plain water in the winter time here. I am severly cold all the time so I like my juice at room temp.

I seen the 240's last time I dieted and I think that was as far as I got so 230's I can't even remember when the last time was but was probably close to 20 yrs ago. I know I haven't seen the 160's since 2000 but that is a long way to go yet.
I don't know why I was so excited to see the 240's but think it is going to be weird even to see every other stage, 230, 220, 210 etc... I am glad to see the 240's go though, think I was stuck in them for a long time it seems. I just can't believe how fast we zoom though these stages. I know, honeymoon stage.

I think you are doing great! I was sleeved a few days before you and I have lost almost 25lbs and 6 of those are pre-op....my weightloss is slow and I am kinda bummed because I thought I would have already lost 40lbs by now. The only thing that keeps me going is the thought that I am loosing not gaining...because without my sleeve - I think I would have gained by now. : ) Wishing lots of success in your journey. Cindy
I think you are probably on the smaller side. People without as much weight to lose are usually slower losers.
I have about another 105 lbs to go but will see what things are like around the 160 mark.
Without the sleeve I am sure I would have been gaining as well as usual but I was pretty good at staying just below the 300 mark. I was basically a 294 person but did manage to go over the 300 with my last pregnancy. That was a nightmare to me, it was so hard to get around.
I just can't imagine even getting under the 200 lb, I think I will go crazy lol. 2000 was the last time I made it below the 200 mark right to 165 in which I was pretty skinny back then but the weight quickly returned. I just hope to have my restrictions for many years. I was speaking to Dr Kelly over the weekend, he was here for a seminar and I heard him mention being re-sleeved and asked him about that again after the seminar and he said yes. Not that I really want to go through this again but was good to know.
