Want your kids to snack on apples or grapes instead of potato chips?

Try putting the fruit in a pretty bowl in plain sight, on the table, instead of hidden in the crisper.

Studies showed that people (kids in this case study) were exponentially more likely to snack on fruit if it is clearly visable.

I saw this tip in a little magazine that comes to our house, its kinds of neat its called Nutrition Action, it has alot of tips about healthy eating and rates alot of foods on the market for their value. Also gives very healthy recipes.

I dont have kids but I know alot of people here say they hope their family gets healthier as they do as well on their VSG journey. Just wanted to share.

LOL! I wish that worked for my crumbsnatchers!.

I just don't buy junkfood. Hubby will sometimes buy chips, which my son loves. My daughter likes candy bars and I will get her some 1x a month.
